At the Academy I participated in a workshop where the task was to use up all the clay, which we had at our disposal in our class and at the same time avoid making a form.

I decided to empty the pool of clay and separate it by weighing the clay according to the weight of my classmates.

The result was six differently heavy masses, which were set up on six scales. Under them I wrote down the names of my classmates.

With this act the importance of mass or weight was stressed and at the same time I avoided making a form. At the same time the weight of my classmates was exposed and compared to the weight of the clay.

Clay is a natural material, which contains a lot of water and the one of the basic materials for making any kind of form.
The masses of clay pointed out the differences between my classmates on the basis of their weight. But these differences were much smaller then in reality, as clay already has its specific weight.
